Healing is a journey ❤️

Hello my love ,

I want to remind you today that healing is a journey. It’s not a one-and-done event — it’s a process of discovering new layers of yourself, layer by layer, season by season. Healing requires patience, gentleness, and grace — especially with yourself.

As you walk through this journey, I encourage you to let God into those tender places of your heart where love may not have been fully manifested — whether in your early years or even now. The Word says that “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). God sees every tear, every ache, and every moment of confusion. Even when you don’t understand what He’s doing, know that His light is shining on those hidden places not to shame you, but to heal you.

If God is bringing something to the surface, it’s because He’s saying, “My child, it’s time.” Time to open up this area of your heart, time to let Me bring beauty out of the ashes (Isaiah 61:3).

Sometimes, the heart hides from itself — “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). On the outside, we may seem fine, but underneath, there can be pain that needs the touch of God’s healing love. Because He loves you so deeply, He won’t let those things stay buried. In His mercy, He uncovers what needs to be healed so you can walk in true freedom.

Healing can be uncomfortable at times. It can stir old pain or expose areas we’d rather avoid. But that’s not the time to give up — it’s the time to press in. Surround yourself with people who can help guide you toward truth and freedom. Don’t be offended when God uses someone to show you something about yourself. Instead, thank Him. It’s His love in action — He loves you too much to let you stay the same.

Remember: Healing is a process. It’s a journey with God that lasts a lifetime. The more you allow the Holy Spirit to have His way in your broken places, the more whole, peaceful, and confident you’ll become — ready to make wise decisions for your future, your relationships, and your purpose.

So the next time something uncomfortable is revealed, pause and pray:

“God, what are You trying to show me? Help me to embrace it so I can walk in freedom.”

Do not be hard on yourself. You are deeply loved, seen, and held by God — right where you are, in the middle of your healing.

A short prayer for your heart:

Father, thank You for loving me enough to walk with me through my healing. Help me to be gentle with myself as You reveal the places that still need Your touch. When it feels uncomfortable, remind me that You are near. Give me courage to face the truth, grace to forgive, and strength to trust Your timing. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

With love and grace,
