A person feeling stuck in life

Hello my dearest,

I pray this message finds you wrapped in God’s peace today.

If you’ve been feeling stuck in your life as a Christian—emotionally drained, overwhelmed, or unsure of what to do next—you’re not alone. Many Christians go through seasons where they feel unable to move forward, even when they deeply desire change.

I wanted to share a scripture that has been sitting deeply in my spirit—one that gently reminds us that growth is a journey, and maturity is something God develops in us over time:

When I was a child, I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my childish ways. For now we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteries as though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face-to-face. My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood. Until then, there are three things that remain: faith, hope, and love—yet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run.”—1 Corinthians 13:11–13 (TPT)

This scripture is not just about growing older—it’s about growing in God. It’s about the process of becoming. And if I’m honest with you, this is something I’ve had to walk through myself in a very real way.

There was a time in my life when I was carrying so much—pain, insecurity, fear, and trying to hold everything together on the outside. I had the brave face. I showed up. I kept going. But deep down, I was not okay. I wasn’t being honest with God about what I was really feeling. I wasn’t bringing Him the fear, the doubt, the confusion. And because of that, my body started to break down. I became weak. I felt depleted. I was overwhelmed in ways I couldn’t even explain.

That was a form of immaturity—not in a harsh way, but in a real way. I was still trying to handle life in my own strength, reasoning like someone who had not fully surrendered those areas to God.

But growth came when I got honest. Growth came when I stopped pretending and said, “Lord, this is where I am. I am afraid. I am tired. I don’t have the answers.” And little by little, He began to mature me. Not overnight. Not instantly. But gently, faithfully, step by step.

That’s what this scripture is showing us—maturity is not a one-time event. Healing is not instant. Clarity doesn’t come all at once. Right now, we see in part. We understand in pieces. But God sees the whole picture. And while He is growing you, three things remain: faith, hope, and love.

Faith is what keeps you anchored when things don’t make sense.Hope is what keeps you moving when you feel stuck. But love—God’s love—is what transforms you.

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love…” Romans 8:38 (NLT)

That love doesn’t rush you. It doesn’t condemn you for where you are. It doesn’t abandon you when you’re struggling. It stays. It covers. It corrects. It restores. So if you find yourself in a place where things feel unclear… where you’re questioning what God is doing… where you feel like you should be “further along” by now—give yourself grace.

You are growing, even if it doesn’t always feel like it. You are maturing in ways you cannot yet fully see, and you are being shaped—intentionally and lovingly—by the hand of God. This process may feel slow at times, even uncomfortable, but it is purposeful. Nothing about your journey is wasted. Not the pain, not the confusion, not even the delays. God is using every part of it to form something deeper within you—something stronger, more grounded, more aligned with who He created you to be.

So let love guide you—the kind of love that comes from God, steady and unchanging. Let faith anchor you when things feel uncertain and unclear. Let hope carry you when you feel weary and don’t have the strength to keep pushing on your own. And in every step of this process, be honest with God. Bring Him your real thoughts, your real struggles, your real questions. That is where true transformation begins—not in perfection, but in honesty and surrender.

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished…” —Philippians 1:6 (NLT)

So rest in this: God is not finished with you yet. He is still working, still shaping, still refining. And He will be faithful to complete what He started.
